Pajhwok 03/17/2010By Abdul Moeed Hashimi [Printer Friendly Version] JALALABAD - Gunmen torched five civilian vehicles in the Gushta area of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said Monday, but Taliban claimed they set ablaze six NATO supply trucks. Governor's spokesman, Ahmad Zia Abdulzai, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took palace at 2pm late Monday. He added the vehicles included three passenger buses, a flying-coach and a car belonged to civilians. Police spokesman, Col. Abdul Ghafoor, said fire fighting officials have reached the area to control the fire. Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, said their fighters torched six tankers supplying oil for NATO forces in the district. He added an Afghan soldier was killed during the attack.
